You are kindly invited to a cycle of eight lectures at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana, entitled Timber Architecture in Focus.

The main guest of the introductory lecture will be prof. Hermann Kaufmann, Head of the Timber Construction Department at TU Munich and founder of the Hermann Kaufmann + Partner Architekten architectural office.

The consultation will aim to review the situation in the field of timber use in architecture and construction, with thoughts on opportunities and improvements, which in the future can be contributed by a better cooperation of the architectural and construction profession, design practices, educational institutions and politics. Prof. Hermann Kaufmann will introduce the positive experience of the cooperation of various professions from Vorarlberg, and in the following the conversation will be open to discuss the possibilities of improving the culture of timber use in our country.

Lectures are evaluated with one credit point as part of the ZAPS education.
