V petek, 27. 1. 2017, na mednarodni dan spomina na žrtve holokavsta, je bila v spomin na nekdanjo judovsko skupnost v Ljubljani na pročelju Galerije Dessa, na mestu katere je v srednjem veku stala sinagoga, nameščena spominska plošča, ki sta jo slovesno odkrila župan MOL, gospod Zoran Janković, in direktor Mini teatra in JKCL, igralec Robert Waltl. Slavnostni govornik je bil dr. Andrej Pančur. Pobudnika namestitve spominske plošče sta bila JKCL in Galerija Dessa, izvedbo pa je organiziral in financiral JKCL.

The private institute DESSA architectural center has the status of a non-governmental organization that works in the public interest in the field of culture (Ministry of Culture) and in the field of spatial planning (Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning).
The interior of Gallery DESSA at Židovska steza 4 in Ljubljana, designed by architect Boris Podrecca in 1988, has been declared a cultural monument of local importance in March 25, 2024.
