Congratulations to the winners of 2022 Piranesi Award !

We kindly invite you to the exhibition for the Piranesi International Architecture Award 2022, which will be held from 26 November to 30 December 2022 at the Monfort exhibition hall in Portorož.
For 2022 Piranesi award 86 projects all together were nominated - 50 architectural projects were nominated by national selectors from 11 European countries: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia and 36 students’ projects were nominated by students’ selectors from 18 European Faculties of Architecture from Graz, Spittal, Vienna, Banja Luka, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Thessaloniki, Budapest, Pescara, Trieste, Podgorica, Bratislava, Ljubljana, Maribor, Belgrade, Kragujevac, Novi Sad and AA London. All together 84 projects arrived to Piranesi exhibition, 48 projects from architects, and 36 projects from students.
The Piranesi 2022 award will be announced on Friday, 25 November 2022. The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, 26 November 2022, at 8 pm in Monfort, after the lectures of the international conference Pirans days of architecture 2022. The honorary patron of the PDA is the Minister of Culture RS, Dr. Asta Vrečko.

The private institute DESSA architectural center has the status of a non-governmental organization that works in the public interest in the field of culture (Ministry of Culture) and in the field of spatial planning (Ministry of Natural Resources and Spatial Planning).
The interior of Gallery DESSA at Židovska steza 4 in Ljubljana, designed by architect Boris Podrecca in 1988, has been declared a cultural monument of local importance in March 25, 2024.
