Robert Potokar: Piran Landscapes

On Friday, November 23, 2024, in St Donat has once again hosted a photo exhibition during PIDA conference. The new owners opened a concept store and gallery with selected Slovenian design products.
The Piran landscapes photographed by the architect Robert Potokar are captured moments that his eye frames in a different way, when he searches for the multi-layered space in the landscapes, but at the same time cuts of detail in them, which often turn into abstract art compositions. The photographs capture the relationships between full and empty, saturated and unsaturated, iluminated and shaded, horizontal and vertical and sometimes diagonal, living and non-living. Like a captured moment in time that has remained and passed at the same time, because a moment like this will probably never happen again.
